I have enjoyed working on numerous collections for Brunotti, a lifestyle sports brand. From initial ideas, to moodboards, collection graphics, trims, allover pattern prints, both men and women. Working ahead of the market by 12 to 15 months, plus a young-minded customer, form the foundation for a sparkling and creative commission, every single time. No boundaries, hang loose.
For all (technical) fabrics, sometimes densely woven and suitable for detailed (digital) prints, I crafted strong and appealing AllOver surface pattern prints. Besides aesthetics, a very important feature of these designs; all elements are logically layered in files and ready to color match the different color lines within collections.
Elements can be taken out and be re-used in other garments in different techniques, like embroideries or in placement prints. My AllOver pattern prints can be used to pull together a collection, matching different pieces and creating a visually strong block in the racks for wholesale and retail.
A wide range of trend-led products, sold from different shops in different ways, need distinctive and inventive concept. The upgrading of Brunotti into a luxury lifestyle brand
needed a strong focus on graphic translation, like the development of this clean preppy style with quality materials like damasque woven labels and well balanced artwork.
